Description

Double purpose variety since it can be used in every stage of its growing by harvesting its leaves for salads, or its roots to be eaten cooked. The red leaves are wider compared to other garden beet varieties; it can be also harvested as “baby leaf” 30 days after the sowing. If it is left to ripen for about 60 days after the sowing, it is possible to obtain a very sweet red root.
